Step 1: Connect Klaviyo

Go to Settings → Credentials and find the Klaviyo tile under the Email Marketing section. Click Connect.

You'll be redirected to Klaviyo's OAuth authorization page. Sign in with your Klaviyo account and authorize Synter. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE — your credentials never touch our servers.

Once authorized, Synter fetches your account information and the connection appears as active in your credentials page. That's it — you're connected.

Step 2: Sync Audiences Into Klaviyo Lists

The most common use case: you have leads from ad campaigns and want them in Klaviyo so they receive your welcome series, nurture sequences, or promotional emails.

Ask your Synter AI agent:

"Sync these leads to my Klaviyo list 'Google Ads Leads':
- alice@example.com (Alice Smith)
- bob@company.io (Bob Johnson, +1-555-0123)"

The agent uses Klaviyo's Profiles API to upsert each contact (creating new profiles or updating existing ones) and adds them to the specified list. Phone numbers are included for SMS campaigns when provided.

For bulk operations, you can also pipe audiences from Clay, your CRM, or CSV uploads directly through Synter into Klaviyo.

Step 3: Track Conversions to Trigger Flows

When someone converts on one of your ad campaigns — signs up, makes a purchase, requests a demo — Synter can fire that event to Klaviyo. This lets you trigger Klaviyo flows based on ad-driven actions.

Ask your agent:

The event appears in the contact's Klaviyo activity feed and can trigger any flow you've configured — welcome emails, onboarding sequences, or post-purchase upsells.
