This page is for California residents exercising rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Your right to opt out

California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. Under CCPA/CPRA, “sharing” includes making personal information available to advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, even without money changing hands.

Synter shares certain identifiers (such as hashed email addresses or browser cookies) with advertising platforms (Google, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, Microsoft) for conversion measurement and remarketing. You can opt out of this sharing by rejecting marketing cookies.

How to opt out

You have two options:

  1. Cookie settings — Use the consent banner on any Synter page (or re-open it via the “cookie settings” link in our Cookie Notice) and reject “Marketing” cookies. This stops advertising platforms from reading cookies on your browser.
  2. Email request — Send a request to privacy@synterai.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share — California Opt-Out”. We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm in writing.
